My memories of Uncle David are that of a man always kind, friendly, and sharing. He would have all kinds of things to teach and show us kids growing up. I remember him teaching me to program computers, telling us about ham radio and I remember being amazed hearing voices from around the world that he tuned in. I’m grateful for his time and memory.
David asked for so little but gave so very much! I am very grateful for my big brother David and am thankful we will see him again. He was never unkind, always so thoughtful, and truly loved others.
David was the technical and scientific expert who worked us out of our problems for our science club which we conducted every weekday on our bus ride home from school. We made and fired rockets from my dad’s field long before you could buy them. David helped me with my math in engineering at Penn State and taught me how to study and prepare and went from F to straight A’s and graduate math courses. If I had a technical company I would have chosen David to be the technical expert because he could work out a solution to any problem presented. Will deeply miss your kind spirit and help.
My heart goes out to all of you! I know you will greatly miss him but the pictures and your own memories of him are there with you. God bless you-one day you will see David again!
